Item Description
This Chester County Armory listing is for a rarely-seen for civilian sale used Sage Control Ordnance, Inc. BML-37 High-Capacity Multi-Shot 37mm Rifled Launcher. Due to the rifling of the 37mm barrel, this item is an NFA registered Destructive Device, and will need to go through the NFA process for purchase.
The BML-37 can be used either as a single shot launcher or as a multi launcher, which can cycle up to a 6 round capacity upon firing. Its unique two-fingered trigger design allows for a form of semi-automatic firing by both loading and firing the round upon a rearward pull, as well as ejecting the spent cartridge upon release. This, in-turn, allows the spring tension of the magazine to place the next round into firing position with one continuous motion, setting up firing functionality for the next pull of the double trigger.
This Sage multi-launcher features an 11.3? rifled 37mm barrel, a forward vertical grip, flip-up Magpul iron sights, a picatinny scope rail, forward accessory rails, and an AR collapsible stock system. It will come in a custom-fitted o-ring sealed hard case.
This weapon is in excellent used mechanical condition. The bore notes crisp, clean rifling. The bolt face is clean and intact. Cosmetically, this registered Destructive Device shows some exterior handling and use marks and some light surface scratches in the finish (see photos) but no cracks, dents, dings, malformations, etc., or anything that is problematic for functionality. The left side of the box magazine is marked with a painted on 3 by the former law enforcement entity that possessed this prior for identification purposes. The accompanying hard case is also marked SCPD SAGE3.
This Sage BML-37 37mm rifled launcher, NFA Destructive Device, is currently on a Form 3 for easy eForm transfer. Due to the already NFA-registered Destructive Device designation of this model, it is federally legal to possess and fire anti-personnel 37mm rounds through this weapon, such as beehive rounds, baton rounds, etc..
